Quarterback Notes
Lamar Jackson is enjoying his best passing season yet, averaging 260 yards per game and 9.1 yards per attempt. He’ll need that efficiency against a stubborn Browns defense. Meanwhile, Josh Allen and the Bills are adopting a more aggressive passing approach, particularly evident in Amari Cooper’s debut last Sunday against a strong Titans pass defense. It will be interesting to see if that strategy continues when they face the Seattle Seahawks, who are known for a run-heavy offense, but Geno Smith’s squad also leads the league in passing.
Jalen Hurts is performing decently, ranking as QB4 by average fantasy points, but will need to increase his output against the Bengals’ potent offense. Jordan Love is gaining momentum with his touchdown rate outpacing what his efficiency metrics would suggest, especially facing a struggling Jacksonville defense that allows high fantasy points to quarterbacks. Joe Burrow is also looking to rebound after two quiet weeks against strong defenses but will face a challenge against a formidable Eagles squad chet holmgren and victor wembanyama.
Kyler Murray is starting to rediscover his form and should perform well against a weakened Dolphins defense. Jayden Daniels’s availability is uncertain, and if he plays, he’ll face a Bears team that has allowed the second-fewest QB fantasy points. Baker Mayfield, despite losing his top receivers to injury, remains in the mix as the Bucs continue to attract shootouts.
For those seeking streaming options, Sam Darnold has a solid matchup against the Rams, and Caleb Williams is turning into a reliable play with the right opportunities ahead. time in the philippines now with seconds On the flip side, Brock Purdy’s performance has dipped, but he still has a chance to shine against a struggling Cowboys defense.
